My most memorable mother's day was my first mother's day with my new daughter who was only a few weeks old. We ended up signing a contract to buy our first house that same afternoon!

My most memorable Mother's Day moment was the last year my dad was alive, when I was thirteen, when he drove the whole family out to the country church where he married my mom, and we all had a picnic lunch of the best cold fried chicken, potato salad, and chocolate cake ever. My mom cried. I think I did too.

Most memorable mother's Day moment-actually the day after- When my son Michael age 10 months from Colombia was "legally" announced as my son in an American court. Even though, he was our son mentally, from the first second we saw him in Colombia!

Gaye - 67 - mcgillrmcgill(at)charter(dot)net One of my best Mother's Day moments when when my teenagers went out and bought me some lovely rose bushes to surprise me. When we decided where they should go, they planted them too.

Best mothers day is when we do a chairty walk, just the girls talking, getting outdoors, and doing some good!
