Comfort Sandals You Can Wear Year-Round From ABEO

Here at Everything She Wants , we believe you don't have to suffer for fashion. Fashion and footwear should both look and feel good.  So we are thrilled that we discovered a stylish stabilizing shoe from ABEO to wear during the transition from summer to fall.  We gave them a test drive while running errands and food shopping at Trader Joe's , and they are super comfy. The Blythe Sandals come with ABEO’s B.I.O.system which provides enhanced arch support to be more comfortable on your joints and provide extra comfort and stability.  These cork sandals come in a wide variety of styles and colors that will match any outfit and any outing.  The breathable leather lining, the shock absorbing natural cork midsole and soft and moisture-controlling suede-lined footbed make these our new go-tos.

Football Season Is Here, Are You Ready for Some NFL Fashion?

We're not super football fans.  But we do enjoy a good Super Bowl party and the NFL's trendy new line of tees and tops for women.  This season’s  NFL apparel  allows fans to celebrate their fandom outside of game day without sacrificing their personal style. And celebrity NFL ambassadors  Alyssa Milano,  Jamie Chung (actress and The Real World alum) and  Dascha Polanco ( Orange Is the New Black ) , have modeled some of these fashion-forward looks.  We were gifted a cool Baltimore Ravens top with camouflage accents (Dad will be proud).  Show your team spirit with new tops and tees from NFLShop./ESW Go Ravens!  You can even dress up your football style./ESW Fans nationwide can celebrate the return of football season and have the opportunity to break a Guinness World Record by participating in the  NFL’s Back to Football Friday  challenge. The days of going back-to-school are long behind us, but we are always excited about fall and back-to-school shopping. And whether you're in grade school or a post-graduate, backpacks and bags are perhaps your most valuable fall fashion accessory. Booties are also essential, too. From Fall 2015 fashion previews, here are a few of Everything She Wants ' fave styles. From top to bottom:  (1) Nautical striped backpack and tan suede booties from Kmart; (2) Trendy red-and-black plaid and black/Aztec backpacks from Aeropostale; (3) Leather Western booties from DSW;  (4) Comfy and stylish suede/buckle wedge booties from Aerosoles; (5) Bongo backpacks and weekender bags in funky Aztec prints from Kmart.

Fall 2015 Fashion Trends: Grunge, Boho Chic and Plaid on Parade

Fall is our favorite season. In autumn, we say goodbye to the muggy summer weather and sweaty subway platforms and say hello to colorful falling leaves and crisp, cool temps.  And more importantly, we get to showcase our best boots, jackets, jeans, and anything and everything plaid. Over the summer, Everything She Wants went to Fall 2015 fashion previews for Old Navy, Kmart, DSW and Aeropostale, and two of the trends that stood out were a reboot of '90s grunge style and the staying power of boho chic festival style.  So hopefully you saved your flannel shirts, ripped boyfriend jeans, oversized hats, long sweaters and cozy capes from previous seasons.  If not, at least you have a good excuse to go shopping. Old Navy Fall 2015 style combines the best of a sleeker grunge look with boho chic and festival style. Aeropostale Fall 2015 fashion--smells like teen spirit. DSW has all the Tims, Doc Martens and '90-throwback boots you need. These adorable p...

Alexander Wang x H&M Hits Stores November 6

Designer Alexander Wang will capitalize on the popularity of "athleisure" wear with his sporty H&M collaboration. Alexander Wang x H&M hits select stores and the chain's website on November 6. Rihanna in Alexander Wang x H&M/ photo from H&M A preview of the collection of fitness-inspired clothing and accessories for women and men landed in our inbox and at first look, we didn't see anything from the predominantly black and gray line that would inspire us to camp outside one of New York City's H&M stores. Wang, however, is a prodigious talent who launched his brand in 2007 and is currently the creative director at Balenciaga. At 30, the New Yorker is the youngest and only American designer to do a collabo with the fast fashion retailer. Prices for Alexander Wang x H&M range from $12.95 to $299.

Scandal Inspires a Fall Collection for The Limited

"We are feminine and fierce. We are sexy and strong. And if playing up our power suits is a scandal, then it's one we can gladly handle." Words to live by from the mailer we received from The Limited's new Scandal inspired collection . Scandal star Kerry Washington./CBSNews Designed by actress Kerry Washington, costume designer Lyn Paolo and Elliot Staples, the exclusive collection's dramatic white suiting, long leather gloves, oversized tote bag, taupe dolman wrap coat and standout plaid cape would make powerful and pouty political "fixer" Olivia Pope, proud. "Women often feel they have to choose between smart or sexy," says Washington. "This collection says you can be both of those things. You can be fabulous and fearless." So gladiators get your red wine glasses and your wardrobes ready. The new melodrama-packed season of Scandal  premieres tonight on ABC , and the Scandal-inspired collection at The Limited is avai...

Katie Holmes is Glowing at Old Navy Fashion Week Party

One of the coolest things about New York Fashion Week is celebrity spotting. At a Fashion Week party for Old Navy, we saw stylist June Ambrose, former Top Model creative director Jay Manuel and the evening's co-host, fashion editor and Old Navy style ambassador, Joe Zee. Katie Holnes getting a temporary jewelry tattoo at Old Navy and Joe Zee's Fashion Week party. The A-list star power, however, came courtesy of Suri Cruise's mom, aka Katie Holmes, who held court at the temporary jewelry tattoo station. We loved "Dawson's Creek" back in the day and we are happy to report that "Joey" is just as beautiful (dewy tanned skin, luscious brunette locks, model thin and tall) in person as she looked on the small screen.  And we're sure Tom has gotten the memo by now, but Katie looks really happy. French Fashion Clothier Promod Comes to New York

After months of anticipation, French fashion clothier Promod  is finally open for business about an hour outside of New York City at Palisades Center in West Nyack, New York.  The store, which sells distinctly fashionable European clothing, shoes and accessories for women, has a modern edge similar to Mango and Zara.  But how well will it stack up against H&M, which has flooded the U.S. fast fashion marketplace? At the huge, dimly lit Palisades Center, Promod is located directly across from H&M and it seems to attract a similar trendy clientele.  Promod, however, reminds us more of La Chateau, where we used to shop in the 80s for the latest new wave-inspired styles.  Curiosity is bringing in customers and we overheard a teen enthusiastically ask her Mom what her spending limit was as she pronounced Promod her "new favorite store." Adding to its roster of stores in Paris, Beijing, Madrid and Mikolov (Poland), Promod currently has...

Scene from a Zac Posen FW show./Getty Images Although Fashion Week is mostly an invite-only, media and fashion insider affair, check out a clever feature that we just happened to write on SheKnows.com for tips on " 5 Free ways to enjoy Fashion Week ." Here's a snippet: Crash the party You didn’t hear this from us. ( Well, actually you did .) But it’s not that difficult to crash the tents (the nickname derived from the structure that housed Fashion Week when it was at Bryant Park and where attendees see shows during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week). While you have to be invited to actually attend a designer’s show or presentation, just making it inside is an experience unto itself. To crash with confidence, familiarize yourself with the  Fashion Week schedule  and show up with a particular sh...
