Shopping Jason Wu for Target on Super Bowl Sunday

While many of you were sleeping in or getting ready for a Super Bowl Sunday celebration, Everything She Wants was headed to Target by in search of the Jason Wu capsule collection .  Doors opened at 8 a.m. and I knew that diehard shoppers had lined up early, so I was anxious to see what was left. Jason Wu for Target shoppers./Tracy Hopkins When I arrived at the store in downtown Brooklyn around 8:35 a.m., at least 40 women bundled in winter coats, hats and boots milled around the tiny section where the collection was set up.  All I really had my heart set on was the Milu the Cat Signature T-shirt ($19.99), which was already sold out online. I asked one woman about the shirts and she said, "those were the first to go."  Luckily, a Target salesman put a Medium Milu tee back on the rack, which I promptly picked up.  The Jersey Dress in Red/Navy Stripes ($34.99) also caught my eye and found its way into my basket. "Mischief is in the Details" is the tagli...

Target Fall Fashion Trends: Shaun White Hoodies and Denim

Target's infectious "Music Teacher" commercial gives a good indication of what the superstore has stocked for the back-to-school rush.   Everything  She Wants previewed Target's fall fashion collection and although I didn't spot any hair gel, there was a stylish plaid backpack, glittery Converse One Star sneakers and plenty of tunics and denim. Plus, Target's core brands Merona, Xhilaration, Liz Lange Maternity and Mossimo offer all the on-trend styles fashionistas, Moms and working women must-have for fall.  Let's take a look: Target's fall fashion statements capture several styles: from the nautical vibe with a striped tunic and classic trench to the preppy, collegiate look with skinny jeans, blazer and oxford shoes, to a bohemian chic style with a faux leather jacket paired with a tie-dye print, jeggings and motorcycle ankle boots. We've gotta have this Chanel-inspired bag. Converse One Star sneakers in classic and trendy styles...

6 Must-Have Items in My Fashion Week Beauty Survival Kit

Fashion Week was fun.   Sort of .  While I saw several good and a couple great runway shows ( Christian Siriano and Monique Lhuillier ), I'm not in love with the Lincoln Center locale.  And despite my dogged efforts, I never received the press goodie bag, which is partially why I pay for registration each season ( lesson learned; next season I will rely on invitations ). What I do love, however, is all of the new beauty swag I picked up: Patyka Green Tangerine Hair & Body Wash   ($26) from France is made from organic green tangerine oil.  The aromatic, organic shower gel leaves my skin silky smooth and smelling subtly fresh and fruity. Spanx Tight-End Tights ($28) come to my rescue every Fashion Week.  I don't think there's a better pair of tights on the market.  They come in stylish patterns and colors, and provide tummy, thigh, and rear-end control. Victoria's Secret Bombshell Eau de Parfum ($45) is a glam blend of purple pas...
